Head of Data

An exciting Head of Data (x1 vacancy) job has arisen in a leading firm in Bangkok.

About the Head of Data Role:

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Head of Data will play a key role working closely with development team and work with various stakeholders to meet business requirement. They are continued growth and success in its Bangkok office delivering awesome platform designing services to drive the business further to the future. The role offer yearly bonus and health insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build in-house data engineering and data scientist team (Thailand)
• Set up a working process to ensure alignment and collaboration with the international tech team
• Own and accountable for the data infrastructure vision, mission and roadmap while championing innovation
• Develop data aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business
• Consider potential technology acquisition from constant evaluation of emerging and competitive technologies
• Help stakeholders understand and use information profitably
• Coach and build the high performing team

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics or related field
• Proven success in helping companies scale database system
• Excellence in people management skill and ability to build high performance teams
• Experience data pipelining for general consumption and machine learning purposes
• Experience developing data warehouse, data marts, streamlining data usage for multiple stakeholders
• Experience in BI/AI tools (i.e. R, Python, Tableau, Power BI)
• 10+ years technical experience, with significant involvement in product management, developing, implementing and supporting scalability of data infrastructure
• Exceptional speaking and written communication skills in English and Thai
