What you'll do:

As a Solution Architect based in Bangkok, you will be entrusted with designing secure entitlement solutions that underpin the bank’s digital infrastructure. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with stakeholders to understand their needs, architecting innovative frameworks for authentication and authorisation, evaluating leading entitlement platforms, and defining integration strategies that support seamless operations. You will produce clear documentation for diverse audiences, engage with external vendors to maximise system capabilities, identify areas for optimisation within existing architectures, participate in strategic vendor assessments, contribute ideas for process improvements, and nurture the professional growth of your colleagues through mentorship. Success in this role requires an ability to balance technical excellence with interpersonal sensitivity—ensuring solutions are not only robust but also inclusive of stakeholder perspectives.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business units to gather and analyse requirements related to entitlements within complex banking architectures, ensuring all perspectives are considered.
• Design comprehensive security solutions focused on entitlements and access control, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate and analyse entitlement management platforms such as PlainID, Axiomatics, Authzed, or Oso to determine optimal fit for organisational needs.
• Define integration strategies that enable seamless data flow between entitlement systems and other critical banking applications, supporting operational efficiency.
• Create detailed architectural documentation and diagrams tailored for both technical teams and non-technical audiences to facilitate understanding and implementation.
• Develop authentication and authorisation frameworks that safeguard sensitive information while enabling secure user access.
• Engage with external vendors to understand their integration capabilities, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and future scalability.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and scalability within current entitlement solutions, recommending enhancements where appropriate.
• Participate actively in vendor meetings and evaluations to assess solution offerings against organisational requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes by sharing insights, proposing new approaches, and staying abreast of emerging trends in banking security.
• Mentor and coach team members on best practices in security architecture and entitlement management, fostering a culture of learning.

• Minimum of eight years’ experience in solution architecture with a strong focus on banking entitlements is essential for success in this role.
• Proven ability to gather and analyse requirements within complex banking environments while considering multiple stakeholder viewpoints.
• Extensive knowledge of security permissions frameworks and access control models relevant to financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience configuring authorisation tools such as PlainID, Axiomatics, Authzed, or Oso is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of banking systems architecture including customer data flows and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience implementing retail banking security models that protect sensitive information while enabling efficient service delivery.
• Ability to define, configure, and manage security policies as well as entitlements across diverse platforms.
• Demonstrated experience working with zero-trust architectures in cloud or API-driven environments is advantageous.
• Track record of successful vendor evaluation and selection processes within technology projects.
• Strong skills in producing architectural documentation and diagrams suitable for both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with identity access management (IAM), data governance principles, and API integrations.
