What you'll do:

As a Functional Consultant – Procurement System based in Bangkok, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organisation’s procurement capabilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve configuring key modules within the Coupa platform while ensuring robust supplier onboarding procedures are maintained. You will collaborate closely with both business users and IT teams to integrate procurement systems seamlessly with existing ERP infrastructure. By managing supplier data governance activities—including migration and cleansing—you will help uphold the integrity of critical information assets. Your expertise in release management will be essential for rolling out new features smoothly. Additionally, you will facilitate workshops and training sessions that empower stakeholders to embrace new processes confidently. Success in this role hinges on your ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently while driving continuous improvement across procurement operations.

  • Configure Coupa modules including custom fields, forms, approval chains, and ensure seamless operation of Procure to Pay workflows such as purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoicing.
  • Manage supplier onboarding processes using the Supplier Information Module (SIM), maintaining accurate supplier records and facilitating smooth integration into procurement systems.
  • Integrate Coupa with ERP systems and middleware platforms by leveraging your familiarity with Coupa APIs (REST, Process Automator, Call Outs) to enable efficient data flow between systems.
  • Oversee supplier data governance by implementing synchronisation strategies, conducting data migration activities, and performing thorough data cleansing to maintain high-quality information.
  • Utilise Microsoft Excel Macro (VBA) skills for advanced data manipulation tasks related to procurement operations and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate release management activities by planning updates, testing new features, and ensuring successful deployment of changes within the Coupa platform.
  • Engage with stakeholders across business and IT functions through clear communication, facilitating workshops and training sessions that support user adoption and change management.
  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including discovery, design, build, test, deploy, and post-implementation support for procurement system enhancements.

  • Demonstrated experience of at least five years working extensively with Coupa Procure to Pay modules covering purchase order processing, goods receipt management, invoice handling, and approvals.
  • Proven proficiency in configuring Coupa modules including custom fields, forms creation, approval chain setup, and workflow optimisation tailored to organisational needs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Supplier Information Module (SIM) workflows encompassing supplier onboarding procedures and record maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Coupa platforms with ERP systems or middleware solutions using Coupa APIs such as REST interfaces or Process Automator tools.
  • Advanced skills in supplier data governance practices including synchronisation techniques, data migration projects, cleansing routines, and quality assurance measures.
  • Ability to utilise Microsoft Excel Macro (VBA) for complex data analysis tasks relevant to procurement reporting or operational improvements.
  • Track record of coordinating release management activities from planning through deployment within enterprise software environments.
  • Exceptional communication abilities enabling effective engagement with stakeholders across business units as well as IT departments during workshops or training sessions.
  • Experience managing full project lifecycles from initial discovery through design/build phases up to testing/deployment/support stages for procurement system implementations.
