Head of Enterprise Architect

What you'll do:

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's business & IT architecture strategy and governance. You will lead a team of Enterprise Architects, focusing on reducing complexity, cost efficiencies, convergence matrix, reducing risk and/or improved business capabilities. Your role will also involve advising stakeholders for business and IT in defining and delivering high-quality enterprise-capable solutions. You will provide thought leadership on architectural or complex topics to develop a forward-looking view of current and emerging technologies.

• Driving and aligning organization’s business & IT architecture strategy and governance.
• Leading teams of Enterprise Architects responsible for enabling enterprise-wide architecture function.
• Advising stakeholders for business and IT in defining and delivering high quality enterprise capable solutions.
• Providing thought leadership on architectural or complex topics to develop a forward-looking view of current and emerging technologies.

What you bring:

The successful Enterprise Architect will bring a wealth of experience from related fields, including at least 10 years as an Enterprise Architect. You possess good technical solutions translating Banking business capability to technology capability. You have a good understanding of different technology systems and software development methodologies across the banking business. Your ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable way using a level of detail appropriate to the situation sets you apart. You are comfortable working in a vendor-intensive environment and are able to drive consensus amongst stakeholders with conflicting viewpoints and objectives.

• 15+ years of experience in related fields
• 10+ years as an Enterprise Architect
• Formal architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent)
• In-depth knowledge of Banking business and Banking domain.
• Understanding of different technology systems and software development methodologies across banking business.
• Comfortable working in a vendor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable way.
• Good team player with ability to drive consensus amongst stakeholders.
• Capability to think conceptually and identify patterns across seemingly-unrelated situations.
