Service Sales Engineer

They are currently seeking a Service Sales Engineer to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive business development for existing and new customers, manage customer relationships, and provide sales and quotation support.

What you'll do:

As a Service Sales Engineer, your role will be pivotal in driving the growth of our client's business. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and providing exceptional customer service. Your technical expertise will enable you to understand client processes and offer tailored solutions that meet their needs. You will also play a key role in coordinating with headquarters on regional business solutions.

  • Drive business development for existing and new customers
  • Regularly visit customers and build/manage relationships
  • Initiate quotation process for customer service offerings and generate sales leads for equipment/plant business
  • Identify projects and opportunities in the market for all business units within the business area
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate and conclude contracts
  • Manage sales budget and sales forecast
  • Coordinate with the HQ for regional business solutions and needs
  • Support customers to find solutions and develop contracts

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Service Sales Engineer position brings a wealth of experience from the process industry along with a solid technical background. Your sales experience with capital expenditures or investment goods will be crucial in this role. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. Your ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written, will ensure smooth interactions with clients and team members alike.

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the process industry
  • Sales experience for capital expenditures/ investment goods
  • Technical background in the flour milling industry or similar industries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office + internal software: Intranet, SAP Quotation, CRM, CS WebCRM
  • Strong technical background with solution selling skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
