A leading global nutrition company is seeking an Area Nutrition Manager to oversee the hospital channel in either South or Northeast Thailand. This is a unique opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact on infant nutrition by guiding and supporting a team of Nutrition Advisors, while ensuring strict adherence to ethical standards and local regulations. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic plans, nurturing relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, and driving sales performance through effective coaching and hands-on leadership. The organisation offers a supportive environment that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth, making it an ideal place for those passionate about advancing public health through responsible nutrition solutions. If you are looking for a role where your expertise in nutrition, science, and people management can truly shine—and where flexibility and career development are prioritised—this could be the perfect next step for you.

  • Take charge of a high-impact regional role focused exclusively on the hospital channel, working closely with healthcare professionals to promote trusted baby milk products.
  • Enjoy the autonomy to develop territory-specific strategies while benefiting from strong support networks, ongoing training opportunities, and a culture that values ethical practice above all else.
  • Be part of a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing, personal growth, and flexible working arrangements tailored to your needs.

What you'll do:

As an Area Nutrition Manager – Hospital Channel (South or Northeast Thailand), you will be at the forefront of promoting evidence-based infant nutrition within hospitals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around empowering your team of Nutrition Advisors through thoughtful coaching sessions, joint field visits with healthcare professionals, and meticulous planning of territory-specific strategies. You will be instrumental in building lasting relationships with key opinion leaders while ensuring all activities strictly comply with both local regulations and international codes governing breast milk substitutes. By leveraging your analytical skills—especially your proficiency in Excel Pivot—you will monitor performance metrics closely, identify areas for improvement, and deploy targeted action plans that drive results. Your ability to collaborate across departments will enable you to align marketing initiatives with field operations seamlessly. Success in this role means not only achieving ambitious sales targets but also fostering a culture of ethical practice and continuous learning among your team.

  • Develop comprehensive territory plans based on detailed marketing and sales data, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and implement nutrition action plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams including Medical Channel Managers, Healthcare Nutrition Directors, and marketing colleagues.
  • Accompany Nutrition Advisors on field visits to set clear objectives for each call, foster close relationships with key opinion leaders, gather market intelligence, and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Provide ongoing advice, mentorship, and on-the-job coaching to your team members to ensure effective execution of nutrition strategies and achievement of targets.
  • Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to maintain strong partnerships, exchange technical information, and deliver up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Monitor and supervise the activities of Nutrition Advisors by reviewing daily plans, monthly reports, territory plans, expense reports, and other documentation to ensure compliance with strategy and budget.
  • Offer feedback and suggestions regarding incentive schemes by analysing market trends, client potential, and individual team member performance to help shape rewarding programmes.
  • Participate in recruitment processes by interviewing candidates for field force positions and providing insightful feedback on their suitability for the team.
  • Collaborate with senior management to discuss team targets, negotiate adjustments as needed for optimal effectiveness, allocate goals by product and area, provide strategic guidance, and review progress regularly.
  • Undertake additional related duties as required to support the success of the hospital channel nutrition programme.

What you bring:

To excel as an Area Nutrition Manager – Hospital Channel (South or Northeast Thailand), you will bring proven experience leading teams within the nutrition or broader healthcare industry. Your scientific background enables you to engage credibly with healthcare professionals while translating complex nutritional information into practical solutions. You possess advanced analytical capabilities—particularly using Excel Pivot tables—to interpret data trends that inform strategic decisions. Your interpersonal strengths allow you to nurture positive relationships both within your team and externally with key stakeholders such as KOLs. A history of thriving in B2C settings underscores your ability to connect meaningfully during frequent site visits. Organisational skills are second nature; you handle competing priorities efficiently without compromising quality or compliance. Above all else, your commitment to ethical practice ensures every initiative aligns with both internal policies and external regulations.

  • Demonstrated experience managing or supervising teams of 4-5 people within the nutrition or healthcare sector is essential for this position.
  • A solid background in nutrition or science-related fields (excluding medical devices) is required to effectively communicate complex concepts to healthcare professionals.
  • Proven track record in B2C environments with frequent face-to-face engagement is highly valued for this role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Pivot tables is mandatory for analysing sales data and preparing actionable reports.
  • Previous experience as a sales supervisor or similar leadership role within the hospital channel is considered highly beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for building trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders across diverse regions.
  • Excellent organisational abilities are required to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in reporting and compliance matters.
  • A collaborative mindset is crucial for working alongside OTC teams on linked cases as well as coordinating marketing activities effectively.
  • Flexibility to rotate between different geographic areas if needed demonstrates adaptability and openness to new challenges within the organisation.
