What you'll do:
As an International Sales Manager – Emergency Vehicles based primarily at the Laem Chabang facility in Thailand or potentially another location suited to your experience, you will be entrusted with driving international sales growth across key markets. Your day-to-day activities will involve nurturing strategic partnerships with influential organisations such as medical OEMs and government agencies while converting complex leads into successful projects. You will play an integral role in identifying new tender opportunities for ambulances and fire trucks by staying attuned to procurement cycles worldwide. By collaborating closely with engineering teams internally and presenting compelling modification capabilities externally, you will ensure each solution meets rigorous compliance standards. Your ability to translate customer needs into actionable engineering briefs will be essential as you oversee projects from inception through delivery. Success in this position requires not only technical acumen but also genuine enthusiasm for connecting with diverse stakeholders globally.
- Achieve ambitious annual sales targets for ambulances, fire vehicles, and other emergency response vehicles by leveraging your market knowledge and relationship-building skills.
- Convert leads from governments, hospitals, NGOs, and fire departments into high-value orders through effective communication and consultative selling.
- Identify, qualify, and secure tenders for ambulances, fire trucks, mobile medical units (MMUs), and other emergency response platforms by understanding client needs and procurement processes.
- Build and manage a robust global sales pipeline that supports sustainable growth across multiple regions including Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
- Leverage established relationships with medical OEMs such as Siemens Healthineers, Philips, GE Healthcare to co-develop mobile imaging and diagnostic solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with fire departments, disaster agencies, defence forces, industrial companies, military bases, hospitals, universities, private firefighting companies, and NGOs to expand market reach.
- Present modification capabilities persuasively to OEMs, end users, contractors, and donor-funded institutions to showcase technical strengths and customisation options.
- Advise customers on specifications, compliance standards (EN1789/NFPA/EN), and customisation options for ambulances and fire & rescue vehicles to ensure optimal solutions are delivered.
- Translate customer requirements into clear engineering briefs while working collaboratively with internal teams to guarantee technical alignment and commercial accuracy.
- Manage seamless project handover from proposal stage through build and delivery by maintaining open lines of communication between all stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Automotive Technology or related fields is required for this position.
- At least ten years’ proven experience in B2B or B2G sales within sectors such as ambulances, fire trucks, rescue vehicles or emergency response equipment is essential.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving challenging sales targets while winning new accounts and projects in competitive environments.
- Extensive network with medical OEMs or fire/rescue equipment suppliers will be highly advantageous for building collaborative partnerships.
- Experience engaging effectively with ministries of health or interior, fire departments, contractors or NGOs on large-scale capital equipment projects is important.
- Familiarity with vehicle modification processes as well as integration of emergency response equipment ensures you can advise clients confidently.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards such as EN1789/KKK for ambulances or EN/NFPA for fire vehicles along with life support systems is necessary.
- Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly both internally to engineering teams and externally to customers is vital for project success.
