What you'll do:

As a Next Generation Sequencing Sales Manager based in Bangkok, you will be instrumental in driving commercial success for advanced genomics solutions across Thailand. Your day-to-day activities will involve building trusted relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, laboratories, universities, and research centres. You will be responsible for developing tailored sales strategies that address unique client needs while navigating complex public procurement processes. Your expertise in NGS technologies will enable you to provide valuable insights during client engagements as well as internal strategy sessions.   • Drive the growth of NGS product sales across Thailand by identifying new business opportunities within hospitals, laboratories, and research institutes while maintaining strong existing client relationships.
  • Manage and develop customer accounts by ensuring high levels of satisfaction, repeat business, and fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and mutual benefit.
  • Monitor and guide junior sales representatives as the team expands, providing training, coaching, and performance tracking to support their professional development.
  • Develop effective sales strategies tailored to the Thai market and execute detailed plans designed to meet ambitious targets for revenue growth.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the sales process including e-bidding procedures, Terms of Reference (TOR) submissions, and government or public procurement processes relevant to medical instruments.

  • Solid track record managing public procurement processes including e-bidding systems, TOR preparation, and engagement with government hospital stakeholders is required.
  • Established network of contacts within hospitals, universities or research centres that can be leveraged for business development purposes is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a closely related field is mandatory; candidates holding a master’s degree will be given preference.
  • Fluency in Thai language combined with proficiency in English suitable for business communication is necessary for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach towards customers’ needs are vital for nurturing long-term partnerships.
