An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Head of Sales to join a leading multi-sector group. This role is based in the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customer and project accounts.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Sales, your primary role will be to manage and grow relationships with key customers and project accounts. You will be responsible for developing strategic solutions that meet individual account needs while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders. Your excellent relationship management skills will be crucial in maintaining strong connections with our clients. You will also represent the company in sales of various products while ensuring that sales targets are met. Your ability to influence customer purchasing cycles will play a significant role in driving business growth.

  • Act as the lead liaison for key customer and project accounts, maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Develop and implement customer experience strategies tailored to individual account needs.
  • Identify and address account pressures, plans, and challenges through structured communication.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and third-party advisors to craft effective, customized solutions.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and maintain up-to-date insights in CRM systems.
  • Represent the company in sales of equipment, parts, services, and tech-based products.
  • Ensure sales targets and volume objectives are met for assigned accounts.
  • Influence customer purchasing cycles and anticipate future business needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive product, service, and financing knowledge relevant to the customer base.
  • Engage cross-functional teams (sales, service, admin) to address and fulfill customer requirements

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Sales position brings a wealth of experience in equipment sales within the heavy equipment sector. With a minimum of 5 years' experience under your belt, you have developed a strong understanding of agricultural practices and operations. Your financial acumen coupled with your expertise in business and logistics management sets you apart from others. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools will be crucial in this role. Your knowledge of current technology trends and advancements in heavy equipment will be highly valued. Above all, your proven success in executing sales and marketing strategies will be key to your success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales & marketing, finance/accounting, engineering, or agriculture-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of equipment sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment sector.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural practices and operations
  • Financial, business, and logistics management expertise.
  • Excellent relationship management and customer-facing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of current technology trends and advancements in heavy equipment.
  • Proven success in sales and marketing strategy execution.
