An exciting Sales Manager job x 1 has just become available at one of the most respected local food ingredients house firms based in Bangkok. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a role for a sales who is a leader in their field.

About the Sales Manager Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside. You will also take the lead providing direction to all sales and marketing-related activities, including brand management, market research, events management and directory/league table submissions.

The salary range is 150,000 - 180,000 THB + Car Allowance + Bonus + Provident Fund + Group Insurance

Key responsibilities:

As a Technical Sales Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the business growth. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of our specialty ingredients, their applications, and how they address the specific needs of our customers. Your ability to build strong relationships with current and potential customers will be key to your success. You will act as a technical advisor, providing application guidance and troubleshooting on technical issues. Your strategic mindset will be utilised as you develop and implement sales plans to achieve defined sales targets. You will also prepare engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training sessions for distributors and customers.

  • Develop a deep understanding of specialty ingredients and their applications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers
  • Act as a technical advisor, assisting customers with application guidance and troubleshooting on technical issues
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve defined sales targets
  • Monitor market and customer trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training sessions to distributors and customers
  • Create detailed quotations and proposals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure the feasibility of contracts and orders
  • Provide support and guidance to other sales team members, assisting with technical inquiries

Key requirements:

  • Solid understanding of specialty food/feed ingredients
  • Proven experience in technical B2B sales
  • High-energy mentality with the ability to embrace a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
