Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager with a focus on Data Center Solutions. This pivotal role will drive growth in commercial equipment, controls, and service sales, specifically expanding the Data Center customer base. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Data Center products and the HVAC industry to deliver sustainable, intelligent climate and energy efficiency solutions. What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager for Data Center Solutions, your role will be multifaceted. You'll be identifying new opportunities within the Thai market, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding customer needs to provide bespoke solutions. Your excellent account management skills will ensure high client satisfaction while you identify new business opportunities. Leading pre-bid activities, developing competitive proposals, overseeing tender submissions are all part of your remit. Your negotiation skills will be crucial in finalising agreements to meet revenue targets. Collaborating with various teams such as engineering, operations, and regional CoEs will be essential to align strategies and address customer needs.

  • Identify and analyse opportunities in the Data Center cooling market in Thailand
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including colocation providers, hyperscalers, and enterprise accounts
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Manage existing accounts ensuring high satisfaction and retention
  • Lead pre-bid activities and develop competitive proposals
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to finalize agreements and meet revenue targets
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and regional Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to align strategies and address customer needs

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from the Data Center industry. With 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing of Data Center solutions under your belt, you have proven your ability to manage accounts at a country level. Your strong analytical skills coupled with your problem-solving abilities make you an asset to any team. Your excellent communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with clients while your negotiation expertise ensures successful deal closures. Your ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams makes you a versatile player.

  • 7–10 years experience in sales and marketing of Data Center solutions and products
  • Proven ability to manage accounts at a country level within the Data Center industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
