An exciting Sales Manager job x 1 has just become available at one of the most respected well-know building materials based in Bangkok. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a role for a sales who is a leader in their field.

About the Sales Manager (Traditional Trade) Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service. You will also take the lead providing direction to all sales-related activities, including brand management, market research, events management and directory/league table submissions.

The salary range is 100,000 - 150,000 THB + Company Car + Fleet Card + Bonus + Group Insurance

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans for achieving sales targets.
  • Manage pricing, promotions, and trade incentives to drive sales and increase market penetration.
  • Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key traditional trade partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with trade partners to evaluate performance and discuss growth opportunities.
  • Lead and manage a team of traditional trade sales representatives, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement innovative demand generation strategies to expand market presence and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, industry regulations, and customer preferences.
  • Identify and secure international projects through engagement with developers, architects, and interior designers. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in construction building materials, with some managerial experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales achievement and managing traditional trade accounts.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Sales Manager.
  • Experience of managing customers in traditional trade channel from building material industry is a plus.
  • Commercial Capability: Leadership, Sales Strategy Development, Planning & time management, Customer Relationship Management, Effective Communication, Market Analysis, Negotiation skills, Budgeting and Financial Acumen, Customer centric approach, Compliance & Regulatory knowledge, Product Service Knowledge, Coaching & Team Management, Technology Proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Thai.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, conversant in working cross-culturally.
