Our client, a leading automotive dealership specialising in electric vehicles (EVs), is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead their EV division. What you'll do:

As the General Manager of the Electric Vehicle Division, your role will be pivotal in overseeing all operations related to this segment. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing a diverse team, and developing strategies that enhance our market presence while ensuring customer satisfaction. Your leadership skills will be crucial in setting clear goals for your team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities. Your business acumen will guide you in developing sales strategies, analysing market trends, managing inventory levels, preparing budgets, executing marketing campaigns, ensuring compliance with regulations, and presenting regular performance reports.

  • Lead and manage the EV team, including sales, service, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for EVs.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the EV department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the EV department.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities for EV products.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and dealership policies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on department performance to senior management.

What you bring:

As the General Manager - Electric Vehicle Division, you bring along a wealth of experience from a senior management role within the automotive industry. Your focus on electric vehicles coupled with your exceptional leadership skills make you an ideal fit for this role. Your strong business acumen enables you to develop strategic plans that drive growth. Your excellent communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers as well as your own team. Proficiency in both Thai and English is essential for this role based in Bangkok. Familiarity with automotive dealership operations and compliance standards in Thailand will be a significant advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the automotive industry with a strong focus on electric vehicles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Thai and English (both spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with automotive dealership operations and compliance standards in Thailand.
