An exciting Head of Sales job based in Bangkok has just become available at one of the most respected global medical devices companies. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a role for a sales professional who is a leader in the dental field.
About the Head of Sales Role:
In this business-critical role, you will work as a member of the management team to develop strategic direction.
- Work as a member of management to develop strategic direction
- Review of sales team’ performance objectives, account management and overall performance
- Address personnel and performance issues in a proactive manner (e.g. performance improvement plans for individuals who are not achieving results)
- Analyse end-of-month sales results and proactively devise action plans to address issues, develop accounts and capture market share
- Ensure timely and effective communication with major customers; maintain contact with key customers, industry associations to achieve the objective of the company and advise them of product changes in a timely manner
- Ensure Corporate Policies and Procedures are compiled including, but not limited to promotion, business ethics, sampling, expense reporting
- Undertake agreed sales management projects within agreed time-frames to agreed standards
- Proactively participate and seek ways to improve business activities such as processes and procedures to streamline necessary documents/approval
The successful Head of Sales individual should be sales focused, entrepreneurial and driven.
- Minimum three years' dental experience with a minimum of five years' sales management or business management experience from corporate international company
- Extensive experience in the competing and succeeding in the marketplace and with diverse specialty product portfolios
- Experience in analysing sales data and interpreting trends, implications, etc.
- Previous work experience in sales principles and applying them in a commercial business environment
- Proven people management leadership and project team participation
