Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to drive new business, manage key relationships, and train the sales team to achieve the best outcomes.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving new business, managing key relationships, training the sales team, and achieving the best outcomes.

  • Creation and implementation of new business development plans
  • Identify new market opportunities across developing segments for food testing sector in Thailand
  • Partner with global team, technical team and other business units to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Maintain information on competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, policies, pricing, services
  • Monitor sales opportunity/activity tracking and progress update
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
  • Establish networks and long-term relationships with strategic customers, stakeholders such as industry associations and government sectors
  • Conduct market surveys to support the sales team activity
  • Provide timely and sufficient information to the organization to enable it to develop plans and strategies to grow the business

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in sales or equivalent roles.

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in food science/technology/engineering or other relevant science subjects include medical science, nutrition, microbiology and applied chemistry/biochemistry.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Sales or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of food testing laboratories through previous work and/or sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and experience of the food testing, food safety and/or food production industries to expand business in Thailand.
  • Strong business skills are needed to proactively address business concerns and identify opportunities throughout the market
