Our client is seeking a dynamic and solution-oriented General Manager of Sales and Marketing to join their team in Bangkok. This role offers the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for an assigned area (Thailand, Loas, Cambodia and Myanmar), manage action plans, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. What you'll do:

As the General Manager of Sales and Marketing, you will be at the forefront of defining the future of our client's business. Your role will involve creating a vision for the assigned area's marketing and sales strategy while ensuring its successful implementation.

  • Create, plan, and implement the marketing and sales vision, mission, and strategy for the assigned area.
  • Build an effective, capable, and high-performing Marketing & Sales organization.
  • Ensure achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
  • Drive customer-focused collaboration, raising awareness towards market opportunities.
  • Ensure profitable growth by meeting sales cost & P&L KPIs.
  • Build strong personal relationships with existing customers while developing new ones to generate growth.
  • Implement compliance with regional and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the General Manager of Sales and Marketing position brings a wealth of experience in commercial leadership within large industrial organizations.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of commercial leadership experience in large industrial organizations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in designing and executing commercial plans and strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to build organizational capabilities with robust systems and processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on people development.
  • Fluency in English language.
