About the Food Machinery Sales Manager Role:
In this role, you will be leading and implementing local business plans relevant to food and hygiene business unit across South East Asia. This role offers a competitive base salary with attractive benefits.
Leading and implementing local business plans relevant to food and hygiene business unit across South East Asia
Develop market maps and create gap analysis of existing sales coverage and channel coverage of target products
Identify, classify, evaluate and select channel partnership expansion opportunities
Negotiate mutually acceptable distribution agreements and ensure distribution agreements operate within dates of validity
Ensure company due diligence is satisfied with all channel partners
On board new channel partners
Ensure all channel partners are effectively resourced with application engineering support, training and marketing plans
Create and execute business plans with channel partners focused on demand, channel sales growth and partner sales development
Set targets and goals for channel partners, develop and gain agreement on business plans to meet targets and goals and drive partner growth
Generate reports against set targets. Identify shortfalls. Develop action plans to close gaps to targets
Develop forecasts with channel partners for inclusion in regional business forecasts
Develop and maintain positive and proactive relationships with key stakeholders within partners’ sales management, marketing and other corporate functions to drive sales activity
Liaise with internal departments including purchasing, engineering, production, finance, marketing and field sales personnel
Regular face to face meetings with key stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all company Delegations Of Authority (DOA) including ensuring pricing, contract and technical commitments are approved by the responsible person
Compliance of all commercial activity with applicable procedures and policies
Expectation of 50% travel
To succeed in this Food Machinery Sales Manager role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Knowledge of food and health market, key players and distribution networks
Familiarity with key product groups in the food and health business unit
Ability to configure, price and quote machinery/equipment
Knowledge of channel management concepts as applied in industrial segments with large national and multinational end-users
Ability to form and manage a complex channel model with multiple channels across different geographies and market segments
Knowledge of trade practices and other legal requirements relating to third party sales relationships
Business planning, goal setting and conflict resolution
Proficient with SAP, Power BI, C4C (or equivalent)
Demonstrated ability to interface with top executive and senior level management, both internally and externally.
The ability to manage diverse volume of work and manage appropriate priorities which involve a high frequency of change
Preferably intermediate level of English communication
