Local Sales Manager

An exciting Local Sales Manager (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the most household products company based in Thailand. Reporting directly to General Manager. In this business critical role, you will responsible for leading local sales team to achieve all targets of sales and profit by identifying potential business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies.

About the Local Sales Manager Role:

In this role you will be responsible for leading local sales team to achieve all targets of sales and profit. You will also design and implement the strategic working plan for the sales team and share it to the team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the management to improve the procedure of all works related sales
• Design and implement the strategic working plan for the ales team and share it to the team members
• Control the expense within the approved budget
• Regularly review the sales result against the sales target for further analysis and share it the sales team
• Conduct local market research to analyse the needs of the customers and build up the effective sales strategies based on the analysis
• Determine sales target and foresee the prospect annually, monthly and weekly
• Determine the contents of sales promotions after discussion with sales team and marketing team
• Responsible for innovating or seeking new opportunities regarding sales such as developing new market or new customers
• Solve all issues that may affect sales
• Monitor and improve the efficiency between cost and profit in all situations
• Build a good relationship with the top management of main customers, such as department stores through field visit periodically
• Coach the sales team to improve their talents and maintain a good relationship between the Management and team members
• Perform other works as assigned by GM and MD

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong sales experience, preferably in B2B channel.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Business Administration, Marketing or any related
• Experience in the field of corporate sales, distributor sales
• At least five years of experience in management level as Sales Manager or leading sales team with subordinates
• Strong Thai communication & negotiation skills
• Intermediate level of English skill (or TOIEC score 600+) is required
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Own interpersonal skill and analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Possess own car and able to work upcountry
