A leading international life sciences business is seeking a high-calibre National Sales Manager (x 1 vacancy) in Thailand to support a large, complex business unit with a regional remit.
About the National Sales Manager Role:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will lead all sales activities and manage team across Thailand. As a Head of Sales, you will be in charge of maximise business growth through cross collaboration with local and regional stakeholders
The salary range for this role is base salary per month + allowance + provident fund + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver the financial sales order performance within a defined cost framework
- To manage sales funnel and provide accurate monthly order forecasts/ narratives including coaching of sales force in funnel management process
- To develop and implement sales strategies/ plans to meet and exceed business objectives in the measure of success, i.e., achieving/ exceeding indexes of sales order performance, leadership audit survey and customer satisfaction at the country touch-point level
- To develop/ manage strategic and high-level customer relationships that have influence on customer decision making
- To deliver and exceed customer's expectation that could achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in return
- To partner/ leverage field resources [Marketing, Applications team, Business Operations, Service], divisions and channels to define programs/ initiatives that address customer specific needs, grow market/ wallet shares and drive product leaderships
- To manage employee performance/ development plans that meet the individual competency indexes
With the ability to articulate strategy to operational teams you will take the lead in sales.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors or master’s degree or University Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience as a manager, supervisor and/or individual contributor are a must
- Strong leadership skills, combined with years of experience leading sales teams to success
- Requires proven skills in managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics
- 10+ years progressive management experiences within Sales/ Marketing/ Field Support organisations
- Proven track records in Customer Relation/ Strategic Selling (Executive Selling and Solution Selling) abilities across all markets
- Strong knowledge and experiences in the relevant industries including both the research and applied market segments
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative/ assertive plans that drive successful results to achieve business goals
- Experience in channel management is an advantage
- Outstanding communication/ articulation and interpersonal skills with ability to skilfully influence and work with cross-functional teams across a global organisation; both in verbal and written communication skills, excellent in both internal and external executive presentation skills
- Strong management, change management, team building and leadership skills
- Available for up to 50% business travel
