What you'll do:
As Sales Manager – Mondern Trade Channel, you will play a central role in shaping the commercial success of the hardware segment by developing forward-thinking strategies that drive both immediate results and long-term growth.
- Define and implement a comprehensive hardware channel strategy that aligns with overall company objectives for revenue growth and market expansion within assigned segments such as enterprise hardware and auto glass shops.
- Lead annual and quarterly business planning processes for the channel, setting realistic yet ambitious revenue targets and key performance indicators while ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.
- Continuously analyse market trends, competitor activities, and partner needs within the hardware space to identify new opportunities for channel optimisation and expansion.
- Negotiate and finalise annual contracts, trading terms, and promotional calendars with major retail chains to ensure effective execution of planograms, pricing strategies, and promotional displays for key products.
- Develop a robust distributor network strategy focused on deepening market penetration through inventory management, credit oversight, and extending distribution coverage into regional hardware clusters.
- Craft differentiated go-to-market approaches tailored to the unique characteristics of refinish sealants versus fast-moving aerosol products to maximise accessibility and technical value proposition.
- Drive top-line revenue growth while managing full P&L responsibilities including contribution margin analysis, operational expenses control, advertising & promotion spend, and overall channel profitability.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting processes by product category to allocate resources efficiently and maximise return on investment across all sales initiatives.
- Define dynamic pricing strategies across diverse routes-to-market channels to optimise profitability while minimising potential conflicts between traditional trade distributors and modern trade retailers.
- Spend significant time in the field visiting distributors, hardware stores, retail accounts, and end-users to gather actionable customer insights that inform product development, packaging decisions, service enhancements, and marketing strategies.

- Proven track record working with industrial consumables or automotive aftermarket products—including paints/coatings or hardware/DIY sectors—is highly desirable for understanding complex product portfolios.

- Willingness to undertake frequent travel throughout Thailand is critical given the need for substantial field engagement with partners across various regions.
