What you'll do:

As Export Sales Manager, you will play a central role in driving the company’s international expansion efforts. Your day-to-day activities will involve leading a skilled export sales team towards meeting strategic objectives while cultivating new business relationships in target markets such as the US and Indonesia.

  • Lead and inspire the direct export sales team to achieve LOI targets, budget goals, and foster a positive working environment built on trust and collaboration.
  • Approach potential clients directly in international markets such as the United States and Indonesia to secure new Letters of Intent (LOIs) and expand the customer base.
  • Scout for new business opportunities within related regional markets, identifying areas for growth and developing strategies to capture emerging prospects.
  • Coordinate closely with internal manufacturing teams including SFT, SBM, and ICP to ensure seamless communication and alignment between sales objectives and production capabilities.
  • Develop comprehensive export sales plans that align with overall business strategy, taking into account market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Monitor global logistics processes to ensure compliance with Incoterms and export regulations, maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability throughout all transactions.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, promoting open communication and mutual understanding across departments and international partners.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, market developments, and progress towards targets to senior management, offering insights that support informed decision-making.
  • Support team members’ professional growth by sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and encouraging participation in training programmes designed to enhance skills relevant to export sales.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings abroad, acting as an ambassador for its values of dependability, inclusivity, and collaborative success.

What you bring:

To excel as Export Sales Manager, you will bring extensive experience gained from leading successful export sales initiatives across diverse international markets.

  • A minimum of 8-10 years’ proven experience in export sales with a consistent record of winning new customers through collaborative approaches.
  • Hands-on expertise in managing direct export sales operations across multiple international markets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Incoterms as well as global logistics processes including shipping documentation, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional proficiency in English at a business level enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders worldwide.
  • Willingness to be based in Thailand while travelling internationally up to 30-40% of the time; comfortable working across different time zones to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing units to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that foster trustful connections with colleagues, clients, and partners from varied cultural backgrounds.
  • Commitment to continuous learning through participation in training programmes aimed at enhancing technical knowledge relevant to export sales.
