What you'll do:
As Associate Vice President, Cluster Hotel Asset Management based in Bangkok, you will be entrusted with shaping the direction of an established yet ambitious hotel portfolio. Your day-to-day activities will involve crafting impactful branding strategies that resonate with target markets while seeking out new acquisition opportunities that promise sustainable growth. You will provide overarching guidance to hotel operations teams, ensuring seamless delivery of services that meet both guest expectations and financial targets. By leveraging your deep understanding of financial management principles, you will analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive profitability. Success in this role requires an ability to balance strategic vision with practical execution—working collaboratively across departments to deliver results while nurturing talent within your teams. Your influence will extend beyond individual properties as you help set standards for operational excellence throughout the cluster.
- Develop and implement comprehensive branding strategies for existing hotels within the portfolio to enhance market positioning and guest loyalty.
- Identify and evaluate potential new hotel acquisitions that align with organisational goals, ensuring each addition contributes positively to overall profitability.
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations at a cluster level, providing guidance and support to departmental leaders to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor financial performance across all properties, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for optimising revenue streams and controlling costs.
- Establish strong relationships with external partners such as property owners, investors, and service providers to maximise value creation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and safety.
- Drive initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention within the hotel teams through supportive leadership practices.
- Stay abreast of market trends in hospitality to inform decision-making around portfolio expansion and operational enhancements.
What you bring:
- A minimum of ten years’ experience in the hotel industry with proven exposure to multi-property or cluster management responsibilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial management principles relevant to hospitality operations including budgeting, forecasting, and profit optimisation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective branding strategies that elevate hotel profiles within competitive markets.
- Experience acquiring new assets or properties into an existing portfolio with a track record of successful integration and performance improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with internal teams as well as external stakeholders such as owners or investors.
- Strong analytical abilities allowing you to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable plans for operational enhancement.
- Excellent organisational skills enabling you to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising attention to detail or quality outcomes.
