Job Responsibility
- Assume management and leadership responsibilities for planning, developing and implementing sales strategies for all product lines with customers in SEA.
- Develop and expedite strategies to grow revenue and market shares with respective customers.
- Strategize and increase penetration in our fastener business within the region.
- Possess working knowledge of regional automobile and auto parts industry and market trends to develop budgeting and sales strategies.
- Develop and drive mid to long term annual sales budget goals.
- Responsible for all necessary communication and coordination between sales department and other functions; Act as the main window between the customers and the organisation.
- Manage customers’ overall information, including service requests and customer feedback.
- Accomplish work designated by line manager, leadership team and other key stakeholders in the regional and global teams.
- Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with senior leadership team both regionally and globally.
- Lead, train, and coach regional team members to enhance employee engagement and develop a high performing team.
Job requirement:
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of work experience (preferably within automotive customer base) with minimum 8 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Familiarity with standard requirements and customer specific requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills: English language is mandatory.
- Customer focused mindset, able to secure team’s commitment towards goals achievement short and long-term.
- Able to work with all levels to get things done, building and challenging the team to work collaboratively.
- Provide the necessary resources e.g. headcount and equipment, and support development and feedback opportunities for the team.
- Positive personality attributes, see challenges as opportunities, see the impossible as the beginning of the possible.
- Very familiar with automobile and auto parts industry, with rich experience in business leadership.
