Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Domestic Sales Manager to join their team. This role involves managing and developing a sales team to drive sales through various distribution channels such as projects, dealers, and other potential channels within the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets in line with the company's direction.

What you'll do:

As a Domestic Sales Manager in the Building & Constructions sector, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's business. You will manage a dedicated sales team, ensuring they are aligned with the company's strategic goals. Your ability to develop tangible plans for target achievement will be crucial. You will also be responsible for structuring the team effectively to support business goals, which includes finding talent and fostering their development. Relationship management with key stakeholders will be a significant part of your role. Additionally, you will drive your team to generate revenue from new products and services in line with the company's direction. Monitoring market trends and providing proactive solutions to management will also fall under your purview.

  • Ensure alignment of Sales Target, Sales Strategic Plan, and Sales Action plan with the company's direction and goals
  • Develop tangible plans for the Sales team to achieve targets
  • Structure the team effectively to support business goals, including talent acquisition and development
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders: Top customers, Strategic Partners, Business Partners, etc.
  • Drive the sales team to generate revenue from new products and services in line with the company's direction
  • Monitor market trends and provide proactive solutions to management

What you bring:

As a Domestic Sales Manager, you bring a wealth of experience in the building materials industry. Your strong background in construction building material (CMB) sales sets you apart. You have proven experience in project sales and traditional trade. Your ability to understand business needs and convert them into actionable sales plans is commendable. You have managed sales teams before, including coordinating their activities. Your knack for identifying high-potential employees and implementing growth strategies within an organisation is a key strength. You have a proven ability to analyse markets, understand trends and convert your findings into reports, strategies or action plans. Your history of building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels will be invaluable in this role.

  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of working experience in building materials industry
  • Strong experience in construction building material (CMB) sales
  • Proven experience in project sales and traditional trade
  • Ability to understand business needs and convert them into actionable sales plans
  • Experience in managing a sales team including sales coordination
  • Proven ability to identify high-potential employees and implement growth strategies within an organisation
  • Proven ability to analyse markets, understand trends and convert findings into reports, strategies or action plans
  • History of building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
