Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for the Asian region. The successful candidate will be a key player in identifying and defining growth opportunities, setting pricing strategies, and managing budgets for the region. Regular travel within the region will be required.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager for the Asian region, your primary role will be to win new business for our client. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various teams including Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering. Your mission will be to expand their IoT and EC motors business across more beverage bottlers and into the Food Retail segment. You will also play a crucial role in overseeing the introduction and implementation of their solutions to market and customers.

  • Support commercial strategies to generate added value, drive volume, and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement continuity and growth plans to support, develop and retain customers.
  • Research, analyze, and develop potential new customers and business opportunities.
  • Analyze sales reports and provide insights into performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Secure meetings with potential customers, present value-focused proposals that will deliver on their requirements.
  • Resolve contractual, commercial, and operational issues with customers.
  • Manage and inform customer-facing team activities; coordinate product implementation activities that align with customer requirements.
  • Engage and encourage a cross-section of the customer organisation to learn about our solutions to improve customer uptake and retention.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the beverage or food retail industry.

  • 3+ years relevant experience in the beverage or food retail industry.
  • Experience in sales of IoT solutions and software would be highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining B2B relationships.
  • Experience working in Asia and communicating in at least one or more local dialects is required.
  • Bachelor's degree (tertiary education) in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or another demonstrated applicable field.
  • Good English speaker and communicator; one or more languages used in the Asia region are required.
