Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead their branch office in Bangkok, Thailand. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the overall operations of the branch, from its establishment to the management of day-to-day operations. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills, flexibility, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our client's presence in Thailand. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the overall operations of the branch office. You will be tasked with developing new customers while nurturing relationships with existing ones.

  • Oversee the overall operations of the branch office in Bangkok
  • Develop new customers and build relationships with existing ones
  • Plan and execute sales strategies
  • Conduct research on the Thai market and develop appropriate marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with headquarters to formulate strategies promoting business growth in Thailand
  • Manage recruitment, training, organization management and team building for the branch office
  • Manage branch office from an economic perspective including budget management and cost reduction measures

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Sales position brings a wealth of experience in sales within the Thai market, particularly within a B-to-B (business-to-business) context.

  • Proven sales experience in the Thai market, especially B-to-B (business-to-business)
  • Experience managing a branch office or department
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work closely with head office in Japan
  • Ability to conduct business negotiations in English
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for the Thai market
  • Financial knowledge necessary for branch operations (budgeting, cost control, profit analysis)
  • Business level proficiency in Thai and English
