About the Head of Wholesales - Fashion Retail Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Wholesales to lead our wholesale operations in the fashion retail industry. As the Head of Wholesales, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives. This role offers a competitive base salary with attractive benefits.
Develop and execute a comprehensive wholesale strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence
Identify and establish new wholesale partnerships, while nurturing existing relationships with key accounts
Lead and manage a team of wholesale sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the marketing and design teams, to develop and launch new products and collections
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Monitor and report on wholesale sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
Ensure accurate and timely order processing, inventory management, and fulfilment to meet customer demands.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with wholesale partners, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, build relationships, and stay up-to-date with industry trends
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales, expand market reach, and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience in a similar role within the fashion retail industry, with a focus on wholesales
Strong understanding of wholesale sales strategies, pricing, and distribution channels
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, driving them towards achieving sales targets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Results-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software
Flexibility to travel as required for industry events and meetings
