An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join a leading global manufacturer based in Bangkok. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth, developing market channels, and building long-term customer relationships across assigned territories.
About the role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within your assigned territory through effective channel development, customer engagement, and strategic account management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions, support product launches, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage effective sales and distribution channels for assigned products
- Create and execute territory sales plans aligned with divisional and company strategy
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining key existing accounts
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and territory performance to optimise sales results
- Work closely with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns and materials
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular communication and site visits
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and requirements
- Utilise CRM systems to manage customer interactions, follow-ups, and reporting
- Support product launches, including customer communication, training, and demonstrations
- Act as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, and external partners
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong sales background combined with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will ideally have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related technical field
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably within industrial or mechanical products
- Experience managing distribution channels and customer accounts
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Good mechanical or technical understanding to explain product applications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting
- A valid driver’s licence
Experience within a global industrial manufacturing environment or an MBA/Master’s degree will be an advantage but is not essential.
