What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager based in Bangplee, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your ability to build rapport with OEM clients from China will be central to your success.

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with key OEM customers from China, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Prepare quotations for customers, manage order processes, and follow up diligently to secure successful deals and foster trust at every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Analyse rolling forecasts to anticipate customer needs and align internal resources effectively for optimal service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough marketing research and competitor analysis, preparing detailed benchmarking reports to inform decision-making and support business growth.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to acknowledge and confirm new parts requested by customers, ensuring seamless communication throughout the process.
  • Resolve issues efficiently by collaborating with internal teams, maintaining effective communication channels to address customer concerns promptly.
  • Monitor and drive the introduction of new parts for both existing and prospective customers, supporting continuous product portfolio expansion.
  • Liaise with production departments to obtain accurate costing information, ensuring transparency and alignment between customer expectations and operational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders within the organisation to facilitate successful commercial activities and strengthen overall customer relationship management.

What you bring:

To excel as a Key Account Manager in this role, your background should reflect hands-on experience within the automotive parts sector—ideally combining both technical understanding and commercial acumen.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields is required for this position, ensuring you have the technical foundation necessary for success.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in sales & marketing or engineering functions within the automotive parts industry equips you with essential industry knowledge.
  • Proven ability to establish positive relationships with customers, demonstrating deep insight into client needs and maintaining strong connections over time.
