Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Account Manager to join their team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role is pivotal in managing customer accounts within the assigned market, ensuring a consistent supply of products, and identifying growth opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the Packaging Strategy and managing cross-category delivery teams. What you'll do:

As an Account Manager for Packaging Solutions, your role will be central to managing customer accounts in the assigned market. You will ensure a consistent supply of products while identifying growth opportunities within the region. Your responsibilities will extend from overseeing supply requirements to collaborating with various teams to ensure product quality. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining Product Strategy alignment with the regional office while supporting local product development activities. Your understanding of customer expectations will enable you to add value by enhancing the food relevance of packaging.

  • Manage and coordinate the supply of packaging items, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
  • Oversee the execution of supply requirements, actively participating in meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the quality and product development team to ensure products meet regulatory and safety specifications.
  • Maintain the Product Strategy alignment with the regional office and support local product development activities.
  • Understand and exceed customer expectations, adding value by enhancing the food relevance of packaging.
  • Conduct regular Work-In-Progress meetings with key suppliers to coordinate activities and align with customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate local market databases and registers for quarterly invoicing.
  • Manage artwork flow for customer compliance with Zone and Global regulations.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Account Manager position brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the packaging industry. With a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Commerce or a related field, you have developed a strong foundation for understanding the complexities of this role. Your qualifications may also extend into Business or Supply Chain management. Your experience within manufacturing has given you insight into production planning and an understanding of packaging materials. Your excellent communication skills will be essential for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Preferred qualification in Business or Supply Chain management.
  • Knowledge of packaging and packaging materials.
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience within the packaging industry.
  • Experience in production planning.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
