Our client is a leading Commodities Company at the forefront of innovation and technology. They are seeking a Sales Manager to join their Marketing, Sales and Logistics team in Bangkok.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth. Your primary responsibility will be to maximise sales revenue by maintaining relationships with existing customers, seeking potential customers, monitoring market movement and analysing customers/company’s position so as to develop marketing strategies.

  • Conduct sales and marketing analysis by assessing customer needs, competitor activity, demand/supply and market environment.
  • Develop marketing strategies that align with the company’s direction.
  • Evaluate customer requirements such as product, quantity, quality and delivery schedule to match with supply.
  • Communicate closely with existing customers to understand their needs and seek potential prospects to expand customer base.
  • Analyze customers’ position and our competitiveness to develop pricing strategy.
  • Negotiate and review price quotation based on market situation/company’s situation.
  • Develop and review sales contract with customer/Legal Dept to assure that terms and conditions meet the purpose of business conclusion.
  • Monitor production situation and discuss with related parties to ensure that coal quality would be as per agreement.
  • Respond and handle customer complaints, coordinate and seek solution with related parties to solve customer’s problems.

What you bring:

The ideal Sales Manager candidate brings a wealth of experience in sales or marketing, preferably within the commodity business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in commodity business.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (TOEIC score 700 and above). Third Language will be an advantage.
