An exciting Testing and Instrument Channel Sales Manager (x1 vacancy) job has arisen in a leading manufacturing firm in Bangkok.

What you'll do:

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will play an integral role in driving the success of our client's business. Your primary responsibility will be to execute a territory business plan that aligns with the company's overall strategy. This includes strategic growth planning, managing existing sales channels, identifying new ones, collaborating with the marketing team on brand awareness initiatives, generating leads, establishing relationships with potential new customers, developing customer solutions, performing market sizing and competitive analysis for test instruments, supporting management in developing strategic goals, among other duties.

  • Strategic growth planning including development of go-to-market strategies, programs and countermeasure plans to achieve overall revenue targets and market share goals
  • Management and development of existing and/or new sales channels
  • Collaborate with regional Marketing team to implement marketing activities for brand awareness and market share gain
  • Drive Facetime (activities with customers) and Pipeline Management (ensuring opportunities for future sales)
  • Generate leads and establish relationships with potential new customers
  • Developing customer solutions (value and application selling)
  • Establish relationships with selected Key Accounts by making regular customer visits and calls
  • Perform market sizing and competitive analysis for test instruments
  • Support Management team in developing strategic goals and tactical plans

What you bring:

The ideal Channel Sales Manager will bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record in a similar industry sales field role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in Marketing and Channel Management working in a similar industry sales field role
  • Excellent commercial acumen, showing proven commercial results
  • Ability to influence others; promotes plans and ideas successfully
  • Strong networking skills: builds a useful network of contacts and relationships
  • Analysis & judgement skills to understand complex issues & problems; comes up with sound/rational judgements
  • Self-drive and a positive approach to work
  • Experience within fields of utilities, oil & gas or mining industries is valuable
  • Outstanding presentation, interpersonal & communication skills with excellent command of English (spoken & written)
