About the National Sales Manager (OTC):
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the sales strategy for our diverse portfolio of OTC products. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the overall success of the company in the pharmaceutical industry.
Develop and execute the national sales strategy for the OTC product portfolio
Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performance sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the OTC industry
Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective promotional campaigns and product launches
Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives
Monitor and analyse sales performance against targets, implementing corrective actions as needed
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance team effectiveness
Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales strategies
To succeed in the National Sales Manager (OTC) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with the teams, cross functional and internal matrix.
Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field. MBA is a plus
Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the OTC or pharmaceutical industry
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
