About the Segment Manager Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for management of the product portfolio personal care and cosmetic ingredients. This role offers a competitive base salary with attractive benefits.
Be responsible for management of the product portfolio personal care and cosmetic ingredients
Regional sales and product development coordination with our regional and GME chemicals team
Coordination with our supply principles for product developments in the region
Reporting to our suppliers about regional sales and product developments to our suppliers
Acquisition of new customers in coordination with the regional sales team in South East Asia
Driving the market developments in South East Asia
Support for customer-side application and production-related questions in South East Asia
Market analysis and identification of customers , suppliers and new potential projects
Supervision of suppliers / customers and developing new business partners
Focused development of customer contacts and their support
Participation in trade fairs and conferences in Asia and overseas
Maintaining and expanding customer and supplier relationships on a regional basis
Commercial and strategic responsibility for several products
Holistic budget responsibility, purchasing, inventory management, pricing and margin control
Initiation and management of sales promotion measures
Management of key customers and creation of customer-specific releases
Development and provision of product, application and market information for the sales team in the region
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Sales and marketing experience in the field of personal care or another life science industry
Ready to travel, practical know-how in the areas of development or application technology within the cosmetics industry
Highly motivated to join our new personal care setup in South East Asia
Education/training or university diploma and working experience for a Thailand based personal care distributor Product and application knowledge
Fluent English speaking , writing and understanding
Structured ,independent and result oriented principle of operation
Proactivity and strong sense of responsibilities
