Department Manager - (Plastics Additive)

An excellent Sales Manager job (vacancy x1) in Bangkok has just arisen at one of chemical trading company. Reporting directly to General Manager, this is a role for a marketer & sales who is a leader in plastics additives field.

About the Department Manager Role:

In this business critical role you will be responsible for accomplish Sales goals through normal managerial duties to achieve marketing and sales operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accomplish sales goals through normal managerial duties
• Develop and implement a business strategy to ensure the business goals are met
• Prepare in detail the strategic and commercial steps to grow the business and manage risk
• Develop long term and short term sales and marketing activities
• Establish company policies, guides and frameworks that the different departments can work to ensure client and company needs are met
• Build long a strong trusting relationship with directors and shareholders
• Take into account the company’s financial needs to ensure performance matches output that allows for investment and growth
• Identify trends and determine system improvements to achieve marketing and sales operational goals in plastics additives department
• Develop field sales action plans and advertising to accomplish marketing and sales goals
• Identify different consumer requirements to properly identify marketing opportunities
• Gather, investigate, and summarise data and trends to provide accurate information through reports
• Collaborate with other managers and key employees in sales and marketing department to achieve important goals

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Graduated with education background from polymer or plastics
• Strong experience selling intermediates for plastics, or ingredients going into resins
• Customer centric mindset with a successful track record of sales growth
• Experience with multi-national organisations is a plus
• Strong people management skill
