An exciting Merchandising Manager (Fresh Food/Dried Food) (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the growing retailers in Bangkok. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager this is a role for a marketer who is a leader in their field.

About the Merchandising Manager (Fresh Food/Dried Food) Role:

You will be in charge of merchandising and the buying of fresh food or dried food according to well-established procedures and policies. You will handle the gross margins, inventory and sell-through management. You will enjoy attractive base salary with variable bonus for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of product management and planning to increase sales volume and sales distribution with also creating strategy for marketing opportunity
• Finding new quality suppliers
• Coordinating between production, logistics and quality control departments to arrange shipments as per customer requirements
• Supervising a team of merchandisers

The successful candidate must possess at least five years' proven experience in merchandising, buying and strategic planning roles, preferably in fashion retail.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or any related fields
• Minimum of five years’ experience in retail industry
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Sharp presentation and negotiation skills
• Good team player, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good leadership skills
• Must be able to create project plan and maintain project delivery projections
• Work well under pressure and like to face new challenges
