As a result of ongoing and continued successes both within Bangkok and internationally, this global leader within the chemical world has a job vacancy for an Account Manager to join their sales division based in Bangkok.
About the Account Manager Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for handling customer accounts through phone and sophisticated information technology. You will also have to execute plan and meet or exceed the goals and business objectives with respect to sales growth, pipeline, and retention.
- Know customer business including strategy, size, products, key decision makers, organisation, new initiatives, pain points, etc
- Develop by leveraging on appropriate CBC resources including Marketing team and others, mid to long terms Account Plans. Grow sales in various business segments of the customer
- Take ownership and accountability for implementing Account Business Plans. Leverage internal system for information related to call planning, customer identification and contacts management, account strategy and planning and customer needs follow up. Master the CRM platform and drive customer relationship management activities, using the CRM system to capture prospects, accounts, contacts, contact activities, tasks, opportunities, sales and all other selling activities
- Drive and develop solid relationships with the customer and actively drive our internal stakeholder relationship with customers at all levels (top-to-top engagement)
To succeed in the Account Manager job, you will need to have the ability to drive and develop solid relationships with the customer and understand customer business including strategy,size, products, and decision makers.
- Background in business, science, chemicals or related qualification
- Minimum five years’ direct experience in sales in food ingredients, preferable background in beverage, dairy, confectionery, bakery and nutraceutical products
- Strong communicator, customer focused with solid interpersonal and listening skills
- Able to communicate well in local language. Written and spoken English skills are an advantage due to the nature of the business
- Comfortable with phone and digital communication
- Resilient and positive, with good follow up and closing skills
- Must possess own car
