An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Manager in Bangkok. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer. This position offers the chance to create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing, and logistics, and outside suppliers.

What you'll do:

As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics operation in the Thailand Distribution Center. Your responsibilities will span across various areas including warehouse daily operation, safety, inventory management, transportation (both local distribution as well as import/export), and customs related matters. You will also be responsible for supervising logistics staff and managing 3PL’s to ensure customer requirements are met. Your role will involve close cooperation with Global Trade Services and appointed customs broker to ensure all customs related matters are executed per local customs law/regulation. You will also coordinate with related parties including TE’s customs broker, DC Operation (3PL’s) and customers/customer’s broker to ensure that customs reports per Freezone regulation has been prepared and submitted on-time with 100% accuracy.

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, safety, inventory management, transportation, and customs related matters
  • Supervise logistics staff and manage 3PL’s to meet customer requirements
  • Liaise with Global Trade Services and appointed customs broker to ensure compliance with local customs law/regulation
  • Coordinate with related parties including customs broker, DC Operation (3PL’s) and customers/customer’s broker
  • Manage carriers/forwarders to deliver shipments on-time
  • Ensure accuracy of freight/broker invoices
  • Participate in new system enhancements that are related to DC

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Logistics Manager role should have a Bachelor's Degree in any field along with 8-10 years of logistics working experience. Hands-on experience on DC operation and process improvement is essential for this role. Experience managing 3PL’s would be an advantage. SAP Experience on WM is preferred. The candidate should have working knowledge of import/export customs procedures and requirements including licensing, FTA and classification requirements. Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze data are key skills required for this role. The candidate should also have the ability to communicate with senior management through well formulated presentations and discussions.

  • 8-10 years logistics working experience
  • Hands-on experience on DC operation and process improvement
  • Experience managing 3PL’s would be an advantage
