What you'll do:

  • Create and deliver a comprehensive supply chain plan that supports overall business goals and contributes to sustainable growth.
  • Direct end-to-end supply chain activities, including sourcing, inventory control, transportation, and distribution, ensuring efficient movement of goods from suppliers to end customers.
  • Build and apply effective demand planning processes to balance inventory availability with cost efficiency, reducing both shortages and excess stock.
  • Develop strong supplier partnerships through strategic negotiations, performance management, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Introduce and optimise supply chain systems and digital tools to improve efficiency, visibility, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts to refine workflows, control expenses, and enhance service delivery across the network.
  • Lead and support a results-focused team by fostering professional development, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Maintain adherence to applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and company standards to safeguard quality and minimise operational risk.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is essential to ensure a solid theoretical and practical foundation for the position.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in supply chain management, ideally within a retail environment, reflecting the ability to operate effectively in complex and fast-paced settings.
  • Demonstrated experience driving significant improvements or change initiatives within supply chain functions, showcasing strong strategic and implementation capabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of demand planning methods and inventory control practices to maintain balanced stock levels and operational efficiency.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities to evaluate data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making across the business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels and cultivate productive, trust-based supplier partnerships.
  • Effective interpersonal skills that contribute to a collaborative team culture and encourage ongoing professional growth.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and process enhancement.
