A leading automotive manufacturer in Rayong is seeking a Supply Chain Management Manager (x1 vacancy) to join their operations team. What you'll do:

As the Supply Chain Management Manager based in Rayong, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of the organisation’s supply chain operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including planning supervisors, warehouse supervisors, customer service leaders, and materials & productions planning leaders. You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance production planning accuracy, streamline logistics processes, and elevate customer satisfaction levels.

• Oversee customer relations for more than 20 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) by supervising order management activities and ensuring all client requirements are fulfilled accurately via system or email communication.
• Direct multi-line production and material planning by reviewing six-month rolling forecasts to align manufacturing output with evolving customer demand across all product groups.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations by coordinating air, sea, and domestic transportation with external warehouses and vendors to achieve efficient material flow for both raw materials and finished goods.
• Lead warehouse supervisors in managing reception processes, supermarket serving, and location control by enforcing FIFO principles and standardised work instructions to maintain 100% stock accuracy at all times.
• Ensure systems integrity by maintaining SAP material master data and overseeing project implementations through daily transaction monitoring and coordination with regional supply chain teams.
• Uphold quality assurance and compliance standards by auditing departmental activities for IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certification while adhering strictly to EHS regulations and customs laws.
• Model corporate values as a leader by supervising, coaching, and nurturing the supply chain management team to achieve organisational objectives and foster professional growth among team members.
• Hold legal authority over contracts, personnel requisitions, invoice releases, and purchasing orders as required by the role’s responsibilities within the operations unit.
• Provide emergency cover for the Head of Operations when necessary by stepping into key decision-making roles during critical situations.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by reporting managers or senior management as needed to support overall business objectives.

• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale supply chain operations with more than eight years’ experience in supply chain management within manufacturing or automotive industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as logistics, business administration, engineering or related disciplines providing a solid foundation for understanding complex operational environments.
• Proficient English language skills enabling clear communication with international clients and stakeholders across Japanese, American, Chinese OEMs.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with proven experience in team collaboration and presentation abilities that foster positive relationships within diverse teams.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems supporting accurate material master data maintenance and project implementation oversight.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles including FIFO methodology ensuring optimal stock accuracy across multiple warehouse locations.
• Comprehensive grasp of regulatory frameworks such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001 certifications alongside EHS regulations guaranteeing consistent quality assurance practices.
• Effective negotiation skills utilised in vendor management scenarios contributing towards cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising operational standards.
