Logistics and Supply Chain Manager (Retail)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager (x1 vacancy) to join a leading luxury retailers in Bangkok. What you'll do:
As a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the entire spectrum of logistics activities from importation through to final delivery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both internal teams—such as retail planners—and external partners like freight forwarders or 3PL providers. In addition to managing contracts and relationships with key stakeholders, you will also play a vital role in budget planning, forecasting operating expenses, and executing strategic supply chain roadmaps.
The package includes base salary + performance bonus + provident fund
- Plan and manage all aspects of end-to-end logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across multiple channels.
- Oversee smooth importation processes by coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers while ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.
- Supervise customs declarations and maintain rigorous adherence to legal requirements as well as specific brand standards.
- Monitor quality management systems by handling delivery claims, managing product recalls, and upholding high standards throughout the supply chain.
- Manage third-party logistics (3PL) distribution centres for both retail outlets and e-commerce platforms, ensuring contract performance meets agreed service levels.
- Coordinate closely with retail teams to align on planning schedules and delivery timelines for optimal inventory flow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on key performance indicators (KPIs), cost optimisation, and process enhancements within logistics operations.
- Ensure all products meet legal requirements as well as specific industry standards through regular audits of stock accuracy and security measures.
- Support internal audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation and facilitating transparent communication between stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations with service providers such as 3PL partners, insurance companies, and freight forwarders to achieve cost savings while maintaining high-quality service.
