Our client is seeking a highly skilled Demand and Supply Planning Manager who has experience in healthcare manufacturing to join their dynamic team in Bangkok. This role will focus on demand and supply planning, ensuring product availability, and managing inventory. You will work closely with the sales team to validate and agree on demand forecasts, as well as liaise with vendors and suppliers globally to ensure timely product delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining healthy inventory levels and reducing waste from aging stock.

What you'll do:
As a Demand and Supply Planning Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's operations. You will lead the charge in demand planning, working closely with various teams to align forecasts with business objectives. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you delve into historical sales data, market trends, and customer behaviour to predict future demand. Balancing supply with this demand, you'll ensure optimal inventory levels while minimising excess stock. Your ability to communicate effectively will shine through as you create reports and presentations for stakeholders. With your keen eye for detail, you'll regularly review forecasting methods to enhance accuracy. Your coordination skills will also be vital as you liaise with internal and external stakeholders for logistics and shipments.
- Lead demand planning and forecasting from related parties, including the approval process, ensuring that records are well maintained for tracking, analysing, and reporting.
- Work closely with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to gather insights and align forecasts with business objectives.
- Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and customer behaviour to predict future demand.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels by balancing supply and demand, minimising excess stock and stockouts.
- Use statistical tools to analyse data and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Regularly review and refine forecasting methods and processes to enhance accuracy.
- Ensure supply availability of committed products to deliver on time in full.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders both internal and external for logistics and shipments for importing products
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Demand and Supply Planning Manager position brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. With a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline such as Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering, you have spent at least seven years honing your skills in demand planning, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Your advanced Excel skills and knowledge in forecasting and planning will be invaluable in this role. You are known for your analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent decision-making skills. Furthermore, your exceptional communication skills in both Thai and English will enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Applied Statistics, or any related field.
- At least 7 years experience in demand planning within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge in forecasting, planning or any related field.
- Advanced Excel skill.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving & decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English.
