Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager for their Supply Chain department. This includes supply management, purchasing, customer service, vendor management, warehousing and logistics.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager in Supply Chain, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's supply chain functions. You will be responsible for managing supply activities to ensure efficient stock levels, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply across various functions. Your hands-on approach will be crucial in overseeing daily SCM operations, conducting physical inventory counts, executing inventory-related transactions in the ERP system, and collaborating with 3PL partners to optimise transport and warehouse operations. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you analyse market trends and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance demand forecasting accuracy.

  • Manage daily SCM operations, delivery fulfilment, and preparation of sales and finance reports.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly physical inventory counts and execute inventory-related transactions in the ERP system.
  • Oversee vendor compliance and qualification assessment, contract review and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to optimise transport and warehouse operations.
  • Analyse market trends and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance demand forecasting accuracy.
  • Monitor and refine processes across all functions to support continuous improvement of supply chain workflows.
  • Participate in S&OP business meetings to build consensus on the business plan.
  • Ensure custom compliance for Thailand.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Manager, Supply Chain position brings a wealth of experience from an international and commercially oriented company with logistics responsibilities. You have hands-on experience working with a transport/forwarding company or warehouse provider. Your proven track record showcases your ability to coordinate complex operations involving Customs, Transport and Warehouse providers. You are well-versed with import/export documentation and regulation documentation. Your proficiency in English, both written and verbal, will be crucial in this role. You are also familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have knowledge of an ERP system.

  • Degree in Logistics or related field
  • 5 years of experience in an international and commercially oriented company with logistics responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience in a transport/forwarding company and/or warehouse provider
  • Proven track record in coordinating complex operations involving Customs, Transport and Warehouse providers
  • Good knowledge of import/export documentation and regulation documentation
  • Ability to work with various INCO terms on international trade lanes
  • Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of an ERP system
