What you'll do:
As a Demand Planning Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be leading forecasting efforts for various products. You will collaborate closely with commercial teams to analyse historical sales data and develop accurate demand plans. Additionally, you will oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock availability for both domestic and export markets. Your role will also involve partnering with supply chain and production teams to align inventory with demand forecasts. Furthermore, your excellent communication skills will be put to use as you update key stakeholders about demand forecasts and inventory status. Lastly, you will utilise your analytical skills to monitor trends and create insightful reports using demand planning tools.
- Drive collaboration with sales teams to analyse past sales trends and leverage forecasts for accurate demand planning of products.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for both local and international markets while avoiding excess inventory.
- Work closely with supply chain and production teams to align inventory with demand forecasts for seamless operations.
- Keep key stakeholders informed about demand forecasts and inventory status, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
- Use demand planning software to assess data, track trends, and generate reports on forecast accuracy, demand fluctuations, and inventory performance.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the food or chemical industries.
- Familiarity with B2B sales processes and export regulations.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and analytics tools.
- Advanced analytical skills and experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment.
