Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demand Planning Manager in the Food Retails sector. This role is based in Samutprakarn and offers an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, collaborate with stakeholders, manage supply plans, and optimise team processes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting annual business planning, conducting regular demand and supply review meetings, and managing all activities necessary to drive targeted inventory turns and sustain required customer service levels.

What you'll do:
As a Demand Planning Manager in the Food Retails sector, your role will be pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency through the development of accurate demand forecasts. You will work closely with various stakeholders to align on forecasts, create supply plans that meet these forecasts, and ensure optimal inventory levels. Your coordination skills will be key in liaising with procurement, supplier, logistics and operations teams to ensure timely product delivery. You will also establish and optimise team processes to balance dynamic business priorities. Your contribution will be crucial in supporting the annual business planning / monthly forecasting process by driving volume and value forecasting.
- Developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for units using historical data, market trend and sale insights.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather inputs and align on forecast.
- Creating and managing supply plans to meet forecast demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Coordinating with procurement, supplier, logistics and operations teams to ensure alignment of timely delivery of products.
- Establishing and optimising team processes to balance dynamic business priorities.
- Supporting annual business planning / monthly forecasting process by driving volume and value forecasting.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Demand Planning Manager position brings a wealth of experience from a managerial role within the F&B industry. With at least 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, you possess detailed knowledge of supply chain management/planning principles as well as inventory management principles. Your strong working knowledge of business improvement processes sets you apart from others. You are highly literate, numerate, computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP Systems. Your excellent English communication skills enable you to effectively communicate plans to internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years experiences Demand Planning experience in managerial role in F&B business.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Business or Supply Chain Management (Desired) or any relevant field.
- Detailed knowledge of supply chain management / planning and inventory management principles.
- Strong working knowledge of business improvement processes.
- High level of literacy, numeracy and computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in ERP System
- Fluent in English communication skills, both spoken and written
