Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable Supply Chain Director to oversee and manage their food and beverage operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies, identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, operational efficiencies, and effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials and finished goods to customers while optimising overall logistic costs.

What you'll do:
As a Supply Chain Director in the Food and Beverage sector, your role will be pivotal in overseeing the entire supply chain operations. You will be entrusted with developing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the overall business goals. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and enhancing operational efficiencies. You will work closely with various teams including Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing to improve the overall demand plan process. Your responsibility also extends to managing incoming demand effectively against RCCP while maintaining agreed inventory levels. Overseeing the warehouse, transportation, and distribution of materials and finished goods will also fall under your purview.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the overall business unit goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Effectively communicate and cascade action plans across functions.
- Improve the overall demand plan process by driving input from Sales, Trade Marketing and Marketing teams.
- Manage incoming demand at MPS and MRP against RCCP to meet customer service targets while maintaining inventory levels.
- Oversee warehouse, transportation and distribution of materials, finished goods to ensure timely delivery to customers.
What you bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, demand & supply planning, logistics and inventory management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence.
- Good leadership skills; hands-on approach; willingness to work side-by-side with team.
- Project management experience is a plus.
