Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team in Bangkok. This role is pivotal in the supply and logistics planning process, identifying potential issues from the early stages through to product distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for effective communication and collaboration with both internal stakeholders and third parties, creating strategies based on thorough analysis, and ensuring process stewardship. What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in the company's operations. You will be responsible for establishing relationships with various support functions, driving demand and supply efficiencies, optimising operations costs, ensuring continuous product availability, and developing strong relationships with business units. Your role will also involve driving importation and customs clearance process efficiency, ensuring the return of product complaint samples, monitoring customs broker performance, and leading projects that require SCM functional expertise.

  • Establish primary relationships with various support functions
  • Drive demand and supply efficiencies through local pre S&OP / S&OP / New Product planning / regulatory change processes
  • Optimise the SCM Operations costs and estimates
  • Accountable for continuous product availability and timebound supplies to support market growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Business Units to get early & regular strategic insights into business plans
  • Develop strong relationship with respective Business Units and Commercial teams to capture early signals of change, risk, opportunities
  • Accountable for driving the Importation & Customs clearance process efficiency
  • Ensure return of product complaint samples to respective sites in collaboration with DPOC
  • Monitor Customs broker performance to ensure compliance across all import, export shipments
  • Lead & Support various Projects that need SCM functional expertise

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Supply Chain Manager position will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as engineering or pharmacy. An MBA or APICS CPIM/CSCP certification would be preferred. You should have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Supply Chain operations, with experience within the pharmaceutical industry being beneficial. Proven people management and networking experience is essential, as are effective communication and influencing skills. Strong leadership abilities coupled with professional and functional competencies will set you apart.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field; engineering or pharmacy would be advantageous
