Senior Planning Specialist - Pharmaceutical

A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for the Senior Planning Specialist (x1 vacancy) to be based in Bangkok to be responsible for activities of demand forecast, supply planning and inventory management. The role is an individual contributor and report directly to Head of Supply Chain.

About The Senior Planning Specialist - Pharmaceutical Role:

In this role you will be responsible for sharing and communicate changes/assumptions from demand meeting, highlight any forecast with high variance or fluctuations that may be of concern and impact business. You will also responsible for master data maintenance to ensure various planning parameters setup correctly in the system (i.e. safety stock, lead-time, shelf-life, transportation lanes). The remunerations is competitive with fixed bonus, performance bonus. health insurance and provident fund is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate monthly demand planning meetings with business stakeholders (Brand Managers/ Finance/ Customer Service), include forecast accuracy review
• Understanding assumptions and drivers behind the demand forecast
• Prepare and review monthly supply planning cycle by reviewing in rapid response
• Work with sites to manage inventory when there is change management
• Attend supply and tiered related meetings with sites to communicate and negotiate on supply status and time-lines
• Review rapid response planning tool, stock on hand, days of coverage, and site replenishment quantities

To succeed in this job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-cooperatively with stakeholders, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or any related field
• At least five years’ experience in demand/supply planning in pharmaceuticals, consumer goods is highly preferable
• Energetic, well-organised, self-initiated, analytic, and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in SAP is desirable
• Good business acumen and communication skills in Thai and English (both written and spoken)
