What you'll do:
As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's supply chain function. Your excellent negotiation skills will be crucial in acquiring cost-efficient deals while maintaining high standards of quality. You will liaise with key company employees to understand their needs, conduct comprehensive market analysis, and oversee all procurement activities. Your leadership skills will shine as you delegate tasks, supervise your team, and identify areas for improvement. Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and strategic partners will be instrumental in driving performance and achieving business results.
- Oversee sourcing capabilities including finding and evaluating suppliers, products, and services
- Negotiate contracts and acquire cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality
- Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
- Conduct market analysis, stakeholder reviews, sourcing options, and supplier performance activities
- Perform all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreement, preparation of contracts and tender management
- Delegate tasks, supervise and lead the procurement team
- Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
- Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners
- Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
What you bring:

- At least Bachelor’s degree in relevant area for this position
- 10+ years of experience in procurement for project assignments including materials and sub-contractors, retail equipment and parts
- Experience in a managerial capacity dealing with engineering teams is preferred
- Excellent negotiation, planning, and analytical skills
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
- Well organized with a logical approach to problem solving
