What you'll do:
As a Category Manager in the Food/QSR sector, you will play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategies for various restaurant locations and brands. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring the proper storage and supply of all food and beverage items while maintaining Work Health & Safety compliance. You'll conduct regular supplier reviews, provide valuable feedback, and drive cost-saving initiatives. Ensuring regular supply from all suppliers and maintaining inventory accuracy will also fall under your purview. Additionally, you'll demonstrate your leadership skills by coaching and mentoring a high-performing Purchasing Team.
- Developing a documented procurement strategy in responsible category for each restaurant location/brand
- Ensuring the proper storage and supply of all food and beverage items & Work Health & Safety compliance
- Conducting regular quarterly review with each supplier, providing feedback and documented commentary on quality of supply
- Driving regular price improvements (cost savings) and seeking initiatives that could be beneficial to the business at GP level
- Ensuring Regular supply from all suppliers and inventory accuracy/stock take
- Demonstrating proficiency in coaching and mentoring a highly performing Purchasing Team
